Wrong Answer to Victims Rights

From the ACLU:

Members of Congress have once again introduced the so-called "Victims' Rights Amendment" (S.J. Res 1). Rather than taking concrete steps to ensure that victims are protected--as many state legislatures have done--the proposed constitutional amendment would instead jeopardize the principle that the accused are innocent until proven guilty and that everyone in this country should have the right to a fair trial. This amendment is expected to be considered in committee in the coming weeks.
